Our Story
FirstDue Command was born from a simple frustration: why does the fire service — one of the most demanding, high-stakes professions on earth — still rely on binders, velcro accountability boards, and radio-only communication to manage complex incidents?
Our founding team includes career firefighters, incident commanders, and technology engineers who spent years watching critical information get lost between dispatch, the engine, and the scene. Pre-plans buried in filing cabinets. Accountability tracked with wax pencils on a whiteboard. After-action reviews reconstructed from memory weeks after the event.
We set out to build the tool we wished we had on every call: a single, rugged, offline-capable command platform that puts pre-incident intelligence, real-time accountability, and operational data at the incident commander's fingertips — even in the worst conditions.
Today, FirstDue Command serves fire departments of all sizes, from volunteer companies in rural districts to major metropolitan agencies. Our mission remains the same: give every fire officer the information advantage they need to make better decisions and bring every crew member home safely.
